Masonic Mutual is the only company in the UK dedicated solely to providing cover to Masonic organisations. We have grown significantly since being established in 2014 and have become well-known in the Masonic community.
Our founding members – United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE), Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI) and The Supreme Council – thought Freemasons deserved to have the option of a mutual to reduce the cost of risk to Freemasonry of protecting its buildings and lodges.
The Mutual will continue the growth it has already achieved since 2014, regularly welcoming new members from the wider Masonic community.
Our recent decision to select to work with the Mutual Management experts of Tower Insurance Brokers (Tower) is a testament to our strength. Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity are our guiding principles. Everything we do is for the benefit of our members.
Today we protect masonic buildings and assets, including the temples, museum and facilities at Freemasons' Hall (FMH), properties for the RMBI, Provincial Grand Lodges and Masonic Centres across the length and breadth of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
